The Barrett MRAD Covert is the compact evolution of the rifle chosen by U.S. Special Operations Command as the Mk22, built to disappear into a pack yet deliver long-range precision. This version is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 17-inch fluted barrel, finished in Tungsten gray and shipped with a bipod. The MRAD's user-swappable barrel system lets an owner change lengths or calibers with simple tools, and the folding stock collapses the rifle for transport. A crisp match trigger, a fully adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull, a 10-round detachable magazine and a full-length top rail round out a chassis rifle equally at home in a precision match or on a suppressed long-range hunt. Barrett's reputation is built on rifles exactly like this.
