The Barrett MRAD Covert in FDE is the compact, pack-friendly version of the MRAD chassis rifle that serves U.S. Special Operations as the Mk22, chambered here in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 17-inch fluted barrel and a bipod included. The short barrel and folding stock make it dramatically more portable than a conventional precision rifle, while the MRAD's user-changeable barrel system means the same rifle can wear a longer tube or a different caliber later. The chassis features an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull, a match-grade trigger, a 10-round detachable magazine and a continuous top rail for optics and night vision. The 6.5 Creedmoor is an ideal pairing, offering long-range precision with mild recoil from a compact barrel.
