The Bergara HMR Wilderness is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .25 Creedmoor, a newer cartridge that has drawn attention for its flat trajectory, mild recoil and efficient bullets. Bergara is well regarded for cut-rifled barrels and a smooth, accurate action, and the Hunting and Match Rifle line aims to bring match-grade performance to the field. This model has a 24-inch barrel and a gray finish. It is suited to long-range hunting for deer and similar game, and it also works for shooters who enjoy precision practice at distance with a cartridge that is easier on the shoulder than larger magnum rounds.
