Bergara built its reputation on barrels, supplying other manufacturers before putting its own rifles together, and that heritage shows in how consistently these shoot. The Crest is one of the company's lightweight hunting models, designed around carrying weight rather than bench weight, with a 20-inch barrel and a gray Omni-patterned stock.

Chambered in .22 Creedmoor, it is flat-shooting with almost no recoil, which suits long-range coyote and varmint work as well as lightweight deer hunting where the cartridge is legal. Bergara actions are smooth and their accuracy guarantees are well earned. A genuinely capable mountain rifle.
