Bergara built its name on barrels first, supplying them to other manufacturers before putting its own rifles together, and that pedigree is still the reason shooters buy them. The Crest is the lightweight mountain rifle in the B-14 family, built to be carried a long way rather than shot from a bench.

This one is chambered in .450 Bushmaster with a 20-inch barrel, a pairing aimed squarely at hunters in straight-wall cartridge states who want the accuracy of a quality bolt gun instead of a repurposed platform. The gray finish, sub-MOA-minded barrel, and light carry weight make it a serious timber and field rifle.
