Bergara built its reputation on barrels before it built rifles, and that shows in the Premier line. This Competition model is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 26-inch heavy contour stainless barrel in an aluminum chassis, the configuration purpose-built for Precision Rifle Series matches and extended-range steel work. The Premier action is a two-lug design with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose for smooth, fast cycling under a timer.

The long barrel wrings maximum velocity out of the 6.5 Creedmoor, and the chassis provides an adjustable stock, ARCA or M-LOK mounting, and a stable platform off bags and barricades.
