Rossi's R95 is a modern take on the classic lever-action, and this Triple Black configuration is the pistol-length version in .45-70 Government with a roughly 13-inch barrel and a blacked-out finish throughout. The .45-70 is a big, slow, deeply penetrating cartridge with well over a century of service on heavy game, and in a compact lever gun it becomes a genuinely formidable brush and trail arm. Short lever actions like this are quick to mount, easy to cycle from awkward positions and simple to top off.

Purpose-built for close-cover hunting and backcountry carry where a short, hard-hitting package matters.
