The Burris Veracity 2.5-12x42 is a rear focal plane riflescope with the 3PW-MOA reticle and Burris's Knob Synergy system, which coordinates the elevation turret with the reticle holdovers so windage and elevation corrections work together rather than competing.

A 2.5-12x range on a 42mm objective is arguably the most useful all-around hunting configuration made: 2.5x for close, fast work in timber, 12x for identifying and holding on game across a canyon, in a tube that does not require excessively tall rings. Burris's index-matched lens system delivers excellent light transmission at dawn and dusk.
