The CANIK METE SFx built the brand's American reputation almost single-handedly. It is a long-slide striker-fired 9mm with a 5.2-inch barrel, an unusually good factory trigger with a short, tactile reset, and an optics-ready slide cut that ships with the mounting plates most red dots need. The extended sight radius and slightly forward balance make it noticeably steady in rapid strings.

Shooters use the SFx for USPSA and Steel Challenge, range work, and home defense. Few pistols arrive this well equipped straight out of the case.
