The Centurion 11 is Century Arms' take on the GI-pattern 1911, chambered in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel and blued finish. Government-model 1911s remain popular for the same reasons they always were: the grip fits a wide range of hands, the single-action trigger is the best factory trigger geometry ever put in a service pistol, and the all-steel frame soaks up .45 recoil into a gentle push. A GI-configuration gun with traditional sights and a spur hammer is also the ideal starting point for anyone who wants to learn the platform or build from a clean base.
