That is only true if the magazines are correct, which is exactly why using the manufacturer's own is worth doing: shotshells are the most awkward cartridge shape to feed reliably, and feed lip geometry and follower design matter more here than in almost any other magazine. Keeping a couple of spares on hand also makes range sessions considerably less tedious.
