The Charles Daly 101 in 28 gauge is a classic single-shot break-action shotgun — simple, light, and safe, with a 26-inch barrel and handsome blued-steel-and-wood construction. The sweet-shooting 28 gauge is a favorite of upland hunters and clays shooters who appreciate its light recoil and surprisingly effective patterns, and in a single-shot it makes an outstanding first shotgun for young or new shooters: one shot teaches discipline, and the exposed-action design makes safe handling visible at a glance. An affordable gateway to a lifetime of wing shooting.
