The Charles Daly AR-12A brings AR-style ergonomics to a semi-automatic 12 gauge at a price that invites range fun. The familiar pistol grip, magazine-fed operation, and AR-pattern controls mean anyone comfortable on a modern sporting rifle picks it up instantly, while the 19.5-inch barrel with 3-inch chambers handles defensive loads, buckshot drills, and clay-busting alike. Detachable box magazines make reloads dramatically faster than tube-fed shotguns. As a home-defense scattergun or the most entertaining gun at the range day, the AR-12A delivers a lot of capability for the money.
