Charles Daly has been a name in American shotguns for well over a century, and the 301 is the company's straightforward pump gun. This is a 20-gauge turkey configuration with a 24-inch barrel and full Mossy Oak Bottomland coverage. The short barrel is deliberate: turkey hunting is close-range, often from a seated position against a tree, and a 24-inch tube swings and clears brush far better than a 28.

A 20 gauge with modern turkey loads is entirely adequate inside 40 yards and much easier on the shoulder from an awkward sitting position.
