The 1911-22 Field gives you the full 1911 manual of arms in .22 Long Rifle, which makes it one of the most useful training tools a 1911 owner can own. Grip safety, thumb safety, slide stop, and magazine release all sit exactly where they do on a .45, so muscle memory transfers directly, but you can shoot all afternoon on a box of rimfire.

This version has a 5-inch barrel and a gray finish. It also stands on its own as a small-game and plinking pistol, and the single-action trigger makes precise shots on cans and steel easy.
