Chiappa's Honcho line took the compact pump shotgun concept and made it genuinely useful, and this Tactical version wears an 18.5-inch barrel in 12 gauge with wood furniture and a blued finish. Pump guns remain the most forgiving action type in a defensive shotgun because they will cycle any load you feed them, from light birdshot to heavy buckshot, with no gas system to tune. The short barrel and cylinder-bore-style pattern make it well suited to home defense and truck-gun duty where maneuverability is the priority.

A 3-inch chamber lets it handle magnum buckshot and slug loads.
