Christensen Arms built the TFM as a long-range precision rifle that stays manageable to carry. Its carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel, a Christensen hallmark, reduces weight compared with a steel barrel of similar stiffness, and the muzzle brake keeps recoil mild for quicker follow-up shots.

This model is chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 26-inch barrel, a pairing that gets the most velocity from the cartridge's long, high-BC bullets. The 6.5 PRC shoots flat and drifts little in the wind, making this TFM well suited to steel at long range as well as deer and antelope hunting.
