The Christensen Arms Ranger brings the company's carbon fiber expertise down to the rimfire world, and this .17 HMR version is a varmint hunter's delight. The .17 HMR sends tiny bullets at blistering rimfire velocities, turning prairie dogs, ground squirrels, and starlings inside 150 yards into routine work. The 18 inch barrel is mated to a lightweight tan and black stock that echoes Christensen's centerfire mountain rifles, making the Ranger an ideal understudy — same feel, same handling, pennies per shot. It is the premium small-game rifle for shooters who appreciate nice things.
