This Christensen Arms scope base is built for Remington 700 short-action rifles and provides a solid, low-profile platform for mounting an optic. Christensen Arms is best known for lightweight carbon-fiber-wrapped hunting and precision rifles, and their accessories are designed to match that attention to precision. A properly fitted base is the foundation of a stable optic setup, holding zero through recoil and rough handling in the field. It is a straightforward upgrade or replacement for any owner of a compatible Rem 700 pattern action who wants a dependable mounting interface for rings and a scope.
