Chambered in .450 Bushmaster with an 18-inch barrel, this Cascade Short Barrel is built for a very particular job: deer hunting in the straight-wall cartridge states across the Midwest, where .450 Bushmaster has become a dominant choice. It throws a heavy, large-diameter bullet with authority inside typical woods ranges, and the short barrel makes it quick to handle from a blind or a stand. The muzzle is threaded 11/16x24 for a brake or suppressor — welcome on a cartridge that thumps at both ends. CVA's adjustable trigger and nitride-treated barrel come standard, with a black finish and an OD green stock.
