The Cascade Short Barrel is CVA's compact take on its hunting bolt gun, and the 16-inch barrel in .223 Remington makes a specific kind of sense: with a suppressor threaded onto the 5/8x24 muzzle, you end up with a quiet, handy rifle that's ideal for predator calling, varmints and depredation work where noise discipline matters. The .223 is inexpensive to shoot and produces almost no recoil, so it's also an excellent rifle to hand a newer shooter. CVA's adjustable trigger and nitride-treated barrel come standard, paired here with a black finish and an OD green synthetic stock.
