CVA spent decades building muzzleloaders before bringing that manufacturing experience to centerfire rifles, and the Cascade is the result: a bolt action with a threaded, precision-machined barrel and a well-shaped synthetic stock, built as a straightforward, no-frills hunting rifle.

Chambered in 7mm PRC with a 24-inch threaded barrel, it pairs an excellent modern long-range hunting cartridge with enough barrel to develop full velocity. The black and OD green treatment looks good and stays quiet in the field, and the threaded muzzle takes a brake or suppressor.
