The CVA Scout is a break-action single shot, and that simplicity is the whole appeal: one moving part group, an incredibly light rifle, and a discipline that makes you take the first shot seriously. Generations of hunters have started on guns like this.

Chambered in .400 Legend, a newer straight-wall cartridge developed for states with straight-wall-only regulations, it delivers meaningful power on deer and hogs inside typical woods distances. The 22-inch threaded barrel accepts a suppressor or brake, and the Mossy Oak Bottomland camo treatment is a classic pattern that has been hiding hunters for decades.
