The CVA Scout is the modern answer to the classic break-action single shot: simple, light, inexpensive to maintain, and accurate enough to take advantage of every cartridge it is chambered in. This takedown version separates into two pieces without tools, which makes it easy to stow in a pack or a truck and one of the friendlier rifles to travel with.

Chambered in .450 Bushmaster with a 22-inch stainless barrel, it is purpose-built for straight-wall cartridge deer states, where that round has become the standard. The muzzle is threaded 11/16x24 for a brake or suppressor, and the duck camo stock keeps it at home in a blind.
