The CVA Scout XP is a single-shot rifle in .450 Bushmaster with a 20-inch threaded barrel. CVA, or Connecticut Valley Arms, is well known for muzzleloaders and affordable hunting rifles, and the Scout offers a simple break-action design.

The .450 Bushmaster is a straight-wall cartridge that hits hard at moderate ranges, making this a solid option for deer hunting in states with straight-wall regulations.
