The CVA Scout is a single-shot, break-action rifle in .338 ARC with a 16.5-inch threaded barrel finished in blued steel and paired with a synthetic stock. Single-shot rifles like the Scout are appreciated for their simplicity, light weight and dependable action, and the compact barrel makes it handy in thick cover. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts brakes and suppressors, and the .338 ARC chambering gives deer and hog hunters a heavy-bullet, moderate-recoil option.
