This is the front cap for Dead Air's Ruger X Dead Air R-Series flash hider mount, sized for 5.56 bores. Front caps on a modular can are a wear item and a tuning item: they take the brunt of blast erosion over thousands of rounds, and swapping to a properly sized cap keeps bore alignment tight and helps control flash and blast signature at the muzzle.
