The Diamondback Firearms DB15 is an AR-15-pattern rifle, and this Carbon model is chambered in 7.62x39mm, the classic AK cartridge, in a familiar AR platform. It features a 16-inch barrel, black finish, and a 15-inch M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting. The 7.62x39 offers heavier bullet weights than 5.56 at moderate cost, making it a popular choice for shooters who like the AR ergonomics with a more powerful round. Diamondback has grown into a well-known value brand, and this rifle is a good option for range, plinking, and general-purpose use where ammunition cost matters.
