The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 is a semi-automatic rifle in the AR-10 family, chambered in .260 Remington with a 20-inch barrel and a black finish. Daniel Defense is known for premium AR-pattern rifles, and the DD5 line scales that quality up to the larger .308-class platform.

The .260 Remington is a mild-recoiling, long-range-friendly cartridge, a good fit for precision shooting and big-game hunting. The DD5 V5 uses a free-float rail and a refined fire control group, and takes 20-round magazines for range or field use.
