The EOTech VuduX 1-6x24 is a low-power variable optic with a second focal plane DP1 reticle, built for the kind of shooting where distances change fast. At 1x it functions essentially like a red dot for close work with both eyes open; dialed to 6x it gives you enough magnification for precise shots well past a few hundred yards.

The DP1 reticle is a well-proven design with an illuminated center dot and holdover references. LPVOs have largely replaced fixed-power optics on general-purpose carbines because they cover the full realistic engagement range with one optic.
