A factory FN magazine for the 509 Midsize in 9mm, holding 10 rounds. The 509 family grew directly out of FN's submission to the U.S. Army's Modular Handgun System trials, and the platform inherited the durability testing that came with it. Magazines are the single most common source of stoppages in any semi-automatic pistol, which is why running factory-spec magazines from the company that engineered the feed geometry is worth the small premium. This capacity also makes the magazine a practical choice for shooters in jurisdictions with capacity limits. A good spare to keep in the range bag.
