A factory FN magazine for the 509 Compact in 9mm with a black finish. FN built the 509 family on hard-use pistol lessons learned from military trials, and the magazines reflect that: heavy steel bodies, aggressive witness cutouts and feed lips dimensioned for the 509's extractor and feed ramp. Extended magazines in a compact frame give you a fuller firing grip along with the extra rounds, which is why many owners carry the compact and reload from a full-size stick.

Worth having several of if the 509C is your duty or everyday carry pistol.
