The FN SCAR 15P is the pistol-configuration member of FN's SCAR family, built around the same short-stroke gas piston operating system that made the rifle a favorite with military end users. The 7.5-inch barrel in 5.56 NATO makes it exceptionally compact, and the monolithic upper receiver with its full-length top rail gives you plenty of room to mount a red dot or magnifier. Ambidextrous controls, a non-reciprocating charging handle and the SCAR's famously flat-shooting recoil impulse carry over. It is a serious platform for home defense, truck duty or anyone who wants SCAR reliability in the shortest possible package.
