Fierce Firearms builds the Reaper H-Tac as a heavier, more stable platform than its mountain rifles, aimed at shooters who prioritize shootability and long-range consistency over ounces saved. The 24-inch barrel and black finish suit deliberate, supported shooting from a bipod or pack.

The 7mm Backcountry chambering is worth understanding: it uses a new high-strength steel case that safely runs higher pressures than brass, which lets it produce magnum velocities from shorter barrels than a conventional 7mm magnum would need. That makes it particularly interesting for suppressed and short-barreled hunting rifles.
