The Heritage Rough Rider is one of the most popular rimfire revolvers in America, and this version steps up to a steel frame, which adds heft that soaks up what little recoil a .22 produces and gives the gun a more substantial feel in the hand.

It ships with two cylinders, one for .22 LR and one for .22 WMR, so a single revolver covers cheap high-volume plinking and the noticeably more energetic magnum round for small game and pest control. The 4.75-inch barrel and fixed sights follow classic single-action lines. An outstanding trainer, camp gun, and plinker that costs very little to shoot.
