Kimber's Rapide series is where the company lets its custom shop styling off the leash. The stepped cocking serrations, tri-top slide cuts, and lightening features are unmistakable, and the Dawn finish gives this one a bright, distinctive look that separates it from a standard 1911.

Underneath the styling it is a proper full-size 1911 in .45 ACP with a 5-inch match-grade barrel, a single-action trigger tuned for a clean break, and night sights for low-light use. Kimber's match barrel and bushing fit are what make the Rapide shoot as well as it photographs.
