Pointer shotguns come out of Turkey's well-established shotgun manufacturing industry and have built a following among hunters looking for a straightforward, functional field gun. The Field Tek 12 is a straightforward working shotgun, a 12 gauge with a 28-inch barrel and black synthetic furniture that is meant to get wet, muddy and knocked around without anyone worrying about it.

The 28-inch barrel is the traditional all-around length for upland birds, waterfowl and clay targets, giving a smooth swing without becoming unwieldy in the field.
