Pointer shotguns are built in Turkey and imported by Legacy Sports International, and they have carved out a following among hunters who want a straightforward working field gun. This Field Tek is a 12 gauge with a 28-inch vent rib barrel, a walnut-finished stock, and interchangeable choke tubes.

Turkey has become one of the world's major shotgun manufacturing centers, and guns from the better factories there deliver solid fit and reliable function for dove fields, upland walks, and general farm duty. The 28-inch barrel gives the swing weight that helps on crossing and passing shots.
