The Mossberg MVP is the bolt action that solved a real problem: feeding from common, inexpensive AR-pattern magazines. Its patented Drop Push bolt design lets a conventional bolt reliably strip rounds from AR-10 style magazines, which means cheap, plentiful mags and easy commonality for anyone already running a semi-auto in the same chambering.

The Scout configuration adds a forward-mounted rail for a scout scope, ghost ring iron sights, a 16.25 in. threaded barrel and a sling. It is a handy, quick-pointing brush and general-purpose rifle.
