The Mossberg 702 Plinkster Bantam is a semi-automatic .22 LR rifle with an 18-inch blued barrel, sized with a shorter stock for younger or smaller shooters. Mossberg has produced rimfire rifles for generations, and the 702 Plinkster is designed for fun, informal shooting and learning marksmanship. The semi-automatic action lets new shooters focus on sight picture and trigger control, and the affordable .22 LR ammunition makes practice economical. It is a classic first rifle for family range days and backyard plinking.
