Magpul's Ranger Floorplate replaces the standard baseplate on USGI-pattern AR-15 magazines with a rugged polymer plate and a large looped pull tab. The point is simple and practical: it gives you something to grab. Stripping a magazine out of a tight pouch, a plate carrier or a dump bag with cold or gloved hands is far faster with a loop than without one, which is why these have been standard issue on many shooters' mags for years.

This is a three-pack in OD Green, and installation takes only a few seconds per magazine.
