M-LOK rail covers do two jobs: they cover exposed slots so the handguard is comfortable in the hand, and they keep debris out of the slots themselves. Magpul's Type 2 covers improved on the originals with a better retention system and a lower profile that adds almost nothing to handguard diameter.

Made from Magpul's polymer in OD Green, they install without tools, snap securely into M-LOK slots, and can be trimmed to length if you need to work around a light mount or sling attachment. A simple upgrade that makes a bare handguard considerably more pleasant to run.
