The POF-USA Tombstone is one of the more interesting guns to come out in recent years: a lever-action chambered in 9mm Luger, feeding from a tubular magazine, that takes the pistol-caliber carbine idea somewhere nobody expected. The result is a rifle that shoots cheap, common ammunition with almost no recoil and no muzzle blast to speak of, which makes it a genuinely excellent trainer and small-property defensive carbine. The 16.5-inch barrel keeps it short and quick, and the high magazine capacity is unusual for a lever gun. POF's machining quality carries over from their AR line.
