The 6.5 PRC has become the standard by which modern mid-bore hunting cartridges are judged, adding meaningful velocity over a 6.5 Creedmoor with the same excellent bullets while staying civil enough to shoot well from a light rifle. Proof Research's Elevation 2.0 is that light rifle: a carbon-fiber-wrapped Proof barrel, a carbon stock and a precision action, built specifically for hunters who climb. A 22-inch barrel keeps velocity up without adding swing weight, and the TFDE stock finish stays quiet and unobtrusive in the field. A purpose-built western hunting rifle.
