Proof Research pairs its lightweight Tundra rifle with the 7mm Backcountry cartridge in this 20-inch configuration with a Black Jungle stock. Federal's 7mm Backcountry is designed to produce magnum-class speed from a short-action cartridge, so a shorter, handier barrel gives up less than you might expect.

Proof's carbon fiber barrel keeps the rifle light enough for long climbs while maintaining the stiffness that precision shooting needs. For elk, sheep, mule deer and other big game in rugged country, it is a rifle designed to be carried all day and trusted on the one shot that counts.
