The Proof Research Tundra in 7mm Backcountry is built around one of the newest ideas in hunting cartridges. Developed by Federal, the 7mm Backcountry runs at higher pressure from a strong steel-alloy case, delivering magnum-like velocity from a short action and a shorter barrel.

That makes it a natural match for the Tundra's lightweight carbon fiber barrel, here 20 inches long, and its TFDE stock. The result is a compact, easy-carrying rifle with real long-range capability, well suited to backcountry hunts where weight and handling matter as much as reach.
