Proof Research's Elevation 2.0 is the rifle that showed a lot of hunters what carbon fiber barrel technology actually buys you: substantially less weight on the walk in, and a barrel that resists the point-of-impact wander a thin steel profile develops as it heats. Chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 20-inch barrel, it delivers meaningfully more velocity than a 6.5 Creedmoor while keeping recoil civilized.

The Midnight-pattern composite stock is rigid and weatherproof, and the stainless action holds up to foul conditions. A well-balanced choice for mountain hunts where a long shot on deer, sheep or elk is a real possibility.
