The Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra FS is a full-size single-action 1911 chambered in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel and black finish. Rock Island has built a following by offering the classic John Browning 1911 layout, with its crisp single-action trigger and manual safeties, at a value-focused level. The long sight radius and full-size frame make it a natural choice for range sessions, recreational competition, and home-defense use, while the steel construction gives it the familiar heft that tames .45 recoil. It's also a popular base for owners who enjoy customizing a 1911 over time.
