Rost Martin is a newer American manufacturer that entered the striker-fired market with an unusually well-executed first pistol, and the RM1S is the shorter, more concealable member of that family. This 9mm carries a 3.6-inch barrel in a black finish, ships optics-ready for a red dot, and comes as a bundle configured for California compliance. The design leans on the things that matter for carry: a comfortable grip with interchangeable backstraps, usable sights, a clean trigger and a slide that is easy to manipulate. A credible modern carry pistol from a company worth watching.
