This is a SilencerCo three-lug muzzle device threaded .578x28, the standard pitch for many .45 caliber and large-bore pistol-caliber barrels. Three-lug mounting is a legacy of the MP5 and it remains one of the best suppressor attachment systems for submachine guns and pistol-caliber carbines: the suppressor pushes on, twists a quarter turn, and locks, with no threads to gall and no time lost.

For anyone who mounts and dismounts a can regularly on a PCC, the speed and repeatability are hard to beat. Machined from hardened steel and finished for sustained-fire heat.
